QUICKSTART / 50HZ ACCESS
Follow the setup order
This page covers only the steps required for a first-time setup. Create an account and confirm your plan, copy your personal subscription from the user panel, then let the client read it. Each stage has a clear checkpoint: confirm panel access, confirm the service is active, confirm the client can retrieve routes, and finally check the target service.
If you want to compare protocol designs, direct and relayed connections, or the relationship between packet loss, congestion, and mobile battery use, read Protocol and Route Technical Reference after completing the basic setup. You do not need to learn these details before configuring your first connection.
Before you begin
First, choose your primary platform and keep a working browser available on the current device. 50VPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux; this page focuses on the first four common platforms. Get both the client and your personal subscription from the user panel. Do not search public pages for installation files or import a subscription address provided by someone else.
Prepare a username you can remember and a strong password. Accounts use a username and password, with no email address required. Keep this password separate from those used on other websites; you will need it to access the user panel when changing devices. If you plan to connect multiple devices, verify the first one before repeating the client import steps on each additional device. Devices are unlimited, but each must use the currently valid personal subscription shown in the account panel.
During setup, temporarily quit other network clients of the same type to avoid multiple connection states on the system. If an older configuration was added to a mobile device, first confirm that the old client is disconnected. You do not need to delete existing configurations; simply make sure the client you are about to import is the one you start.
Create an account
Open the account creation page, enter a username and password in the form, and follow the on-screen instructions. No email address is required. After a successful submission, the page will open the user panel. If the browser remains on the form, check whether the username is already taken and whether both password entries match, then submit again.
After entering the panel, first confirm that the account overview loads normally. It is the central place to get your subscription, check plan status, and access the client download area. The account is now created, but route access becomes available only after a plan is activated. Do not import an inactive subscription; complete the plan selection first.
Choose a plan and order
Open the Plans section from the user panel. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Data packages suit occasional use: they remain available until used and never expire. Choose based on how you use the service, not just the total data; everyday browsing, developer tools, and video playback can consume data at very different rates.
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. If you upgrade an existing monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. The plan page shows the term, data allowance, and price together on each card; review your selection before checkout.
Payment is available through Alipay, WeChat, or USDT. After paying, return to the account overview, wait for the plan status to update, and confirm that the data allowance matches your selection. Do not treat closing the payment page as proof of activation; continue only after the user panel shows an active plan. If the order status does not change for an extended period, submit the order details through the ticket section in the user panel for support to review.
All plans include 60-day no-questions-asked refunds. See the Refund Policy for the application process and scope. The goal of this step is simply to confirm that the panel shows an active service; protocol and route settings can wait.
Get your subscription from the panel
Once the plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription details. Use the copy subscription link action shown in the panel to save the complete address to the system clipboard. Some devices offer an Import to Client option directly; in practice, it still gives the client the subscription associated with your account to read.
A subscription link contains account access credentials and should be protected like a password. Do not paste it into public chats, screenshots, or shared documents, and do not submit it to an untrusted format-conversion website. If the subscription was exposed, update the subscription information in the user panel and re-import the new link on every device still in use.
The address below illustrates the appearance of a link only. It does not connect to 50VPN and cannot be used for an actual configuration:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
After copying the real subscription, do not open it directly in the browser address bar. Go to the client’s subscription management screen so the client can parse it and generate the route list. If a format error appears after pasting, return to the panel and copy it again, checking that there are no extra spaces at either end and that the address was copied in full.
Import clients on each platform
First, get the client matching your current system from the client download area in the user panel. This site does not provide static installers on marketing pages; after signing in, you can see the available option for your account and platform. Open the client after installation and do not copy configuration files from unknown sources.
Windows import
Launch the Windows client obtained from the user panel and look for an entry such as “Subscription Management” or “Configuration Management” in the sidebar or top menu. Choose Add Subscription and paste the copied link in full into the URL field. You can enter a recognizable name, then save and update.
After the update succeeds, the main screen will show a list of regions or routes. Do not enable multiple advanced options at once. Select one route near the target service region, then turn on the system proxy or connection switch. If the client asks for network access permission, confirm that the request comes from the newly installed 50VPN client before continuing.
macOS import
After installation, open the macOS client and find the subscription configuration entry in the menu bar icon or main window. Choose Add from URL, paste the subscription link, save it, and click Update or Refresh. When the system creates the first connection, it may ask to add a network configuration; read the system prompt and confirm.
When the route list appears, select the target region and start the connection. If the menu bar icon changes but web pages still use the previous connection, return to the client and confirm that the system proxy or connection mode is enabled. Keep the default mode for first use; read the technical reference later for protocol choices and more detailed routing options.
Android import
Open the Android client, go to subscription management, and choose Add via Link. Paste and save the subscription address, then pull to refresh or tap Update and wait for the region list to load. The first connection may show a system authorization prompt to establish a network connection; confirm that the client name matches the current app before allowing it.
The connection may briefly rebuild when switching between mobile and Wi-Fi networks. This is normal when the system network environment changes. First establish a stable connection on the current network, then test switching. If the list does not update, check that the subscription was copied in full rather than repeatedly creating entries with different names but the same address.
iOS import
Follow the iOS instructions in the user panel to get a compatible client. Open it and look for Add from URL, Subscription, or Remote Configuration. Paste and confirm the subscription link. After the route list loads, choose a route in the target region and start the connection.
When starting for the first time, iOS displays a system authorization screen for adding a network configuration. Confirm it, return to the client, and wait for the status to show Connected. If the status bar changes while the client remains connecting, keep the app in the foreground briefly so the initial setup can finish, then switch to the browser to verify.
Connect and verify access
After the client loads the routes, choose one based on the target service region. For content intended for Japan, start with a Japan route; for a US-based service, choose a US route. Do not treat physical proximity as the only criterion. Region matching, current network quality, and route type all affect the final experience.
After clicking Connect, wait until the client clearly shows Connected or the switch enters the enabled state before opening the target website in a browser. Existing pages may retain cache from the previous connection, so open a new page or reload during verification. If the target service opens normally and basic interactions work, the subscription import and system connection are active.
For video, start playback normally and increase quality gradually. For developer tools, check that sign-in, requests, and long-lived connections remain stable. The first verification should confirm that the task can continue reliably, not chase a particular speed-test number. 50VPN covers 100+ countries and 250+ routes; if the region does not match, disconnect, choose another route in the same region, and reconnect.
After verification, repeat “get the client—import the subscription—choose a route—start the connection” on other devices. You do not need to create another account or purchase the plan again; use the active subscription in the same account panel. Verify each device once after setup to distinguish device-specific settings from the current route status.
Troubleshoot connection issues in order
If no routes appear in the client, return to the account overview and confirm that the plan is still active, then copy the subscription again and update it. Most first-time import issues come from an incomplete link, a subscription that has not refreshed, or the wrong import entry. You do not need to uninstall the client; delete the failed subscription entry first, then add it again using the complete link just copied from the panel.
If routes are listed but the connection fails, disconnect, switch to another route in the same region, and try again. Then confirm that the device’s current network can access ordinary websites. If other clients of the same type are running, quit them all and keep only the current client active. This helps rule out conflicts caused by multiple network configurations managing traffic at once.
If the connection succeeds but the target service still reports a region mismatch, confirm that the route region matches the content region, then close and reopen the target app. In a browser, clear that site’s session data and try again. Streaming platforms, AI Tools, and ordinary websites use different checks; see Frequently Asked Questions for more complete category-specific guidance.
If the cause remains unclear, sign in to the user panel and open the ticket section. Describe the platform, the client’s current message, the selected route region, and whether the issue occurs while updating the subscription, establishing the connection, or accessing the target service. A stage-by-stage description is easier to diagnose than simply writing “it does not work.” Do not paste the complete subscription link into the ticket; support can verify the account through the panel.
ACCESS COMPLETE
Basic setup complete
The account, plan, subscription, client, and connection verification are complete. For everyday use, open the client, choose a route in the target region, and connect. When changing devices, get the client and current subscription again from the user panel.
